Eighth-ranked baseball team takes on Fullerton at Angel Stadium tonight

The UC Irvine baseball team

The UC Irvine baseball team is enjoying its best season in more than 15 years, ranking #8 in the nation in the latest D1 Baseball poll. So come out and bring the Zot as the Anteaters square off against their long-time cross-county rivals, the Cal State Fullerton Titans, in a special game at Angel Stadium. First pitch is at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 4:30 p.m.). Tickets are $25 for general admission seating and will include a voucher for a select Angels home game.

UCI Health installs latest MRI technology

A 3T MRI is delivered to UCI Health — Irvine on April 21.

UCI Health — Irvine is home to two brand-new MRI machines, one of which is equipped with focused ultrasound and highly sensitive 3T technology. Capable of producing faster and more complex imaging to facilitate a more rapid and accurate diagnosis, the state-of-the-art equipment advances the ability of UCI Health neurosurgeons to perform procedures with unsurpassed precision.

Tyler Yang is studying in Washington, D.C. through the University of California DC program. The second-year law student is serving his externship at the Death Penalty Information Center. “As a law student, witnessing these pillars of our legal system firsthand has been profoundly impactful,” Yang said. “Being in such close proximity to Congress, the Supreme Court and the White House has transformed abstract news headlines into tangible realities and lived experiences.”
